HART Dog Rescue
The Dog Rescue Network is a grassroots organization of ordinary people that volunteer their time, home, and resources, to rescue and foster dogs in need. All of our animals are cared for by a foster home until an appropriate, loving, permanent home can be found for them. We receive no funding except for adoption fees. We are located in Atascadero, CA.

HART Homeless Animal Rescue Team
Our philosophy is ensuring quality of life to all living creatures, both feral and domestic.  By controlling the reproduction rate of neighborhood strays, we are relieving some of the burden from the county pound, consequently saving money for the local governments and taxpayers. By "cleaning up" the local neighborhoods, HART also helps to prevent fighting, spraying and the spread of diseases from the feral and stray animals to family pets.  Pet overpopulation is a huge cost to the taxpayers, to the lives of the animals, and to the hearts of the people who care.

Humane Society of the United States
The HSUS initiates major programs to protect America's most beloved companion animals, dogs and cats, but we also work to promote the protection of all animals, wild and domestic, through investigation, rehabilitation, public education, political and consumer advocacy, and litigation.

P.O.U.N.C.E.
Our goal is to humanely reduce the population of feral cats and give them as much quality of life as possible. Countless are killed because there are not enough homes. Don't add to the problem, be part of the solution. One cat and her offspring can produce 450,000 kittens in six years.
